Snowboards
Our expert staff will work with you to find the board that fits you, as well as your riding style and ability level. We'll start with your foot size, height and weight to select a board that has the right width, length and flex to give you optimum performance. How, when and where you plan to ride will also help us narrow the selection until we find the snowboard that's perfect for you. Freeride boards will meet the needs of most riders because of their versatility. These boards are equally at home just about anywhere on the mountain. The good news today is that you can find boards that are tweaked to be better at certain types of riding, like working a half-pipe or bombing a groomed run, while still performing quite respectably everywhere else. With plenty of options in flex and sidecut, we have a selection of freeride boards that's sure to please. Riders practicing for the next X-games, as well as those who just dream about it, will find many freestyle boards designed to make them look good in the park or on the pipes. Generally, these boards are shorter, twin tipped, and have more flex to make landing tricks easier. Since freestyle boarders often ride switch, most also allow a more centered stance. Their size and flex also makes them a good choice for beginners, who find freestyle boards a bit easier to ride. This year, women will also find some great new boards. Long gone are the days when women's snowboards lagged behind the leading men's models. The new women's boards are engineered with all the latest technology but in waist widths and flex patterns designed for women riders. The line between freeride and freestyle sometimes seems pretty blurry, with many models incorporating elements of both. Not that it really matters - what counts is finding a board that works for you. This year you've got plenty of options!
